The latest insights relating to health and well-being at work
This is the nineteenth annual CIPD survey to explore issues of health, well-being and absence in UK workplaces. In 2018 the survey was rebranded (from the Absence Management survey to the Health and Well-being at Work survey) to reflect an increased focus on health and well-being policies and practices, although, as in previous years, it continues to monitor absence management trends, policy and practice. We hope that you find the research useful when considering your own health and wellbeing policies and practice.
This report includes valuable insights from over 1,000 HR professionals, enabling us to study how the landscape has developed over the previous year. This year we have brought the link between work related stress and poor management to the forefront, exploring how organisations can implement a support network to provide managers with necessary training and tools.
This research covers:
- Employee wellbeing
- Evaluating health and well-being activity
- Level of employee absence
